Insurance

Protect policyholder data and prove how you did it.

Insurers hold some of the most sensitive personal and financial data there is, under cybersecurity rules that expect a working program, not a policy document. ACSE finds the misconfigurations that expose that data, fixes them through your own code, and keeps a record the board and the auditor can both rely on.

Controls mapped to checksA layer of framework controls for PCI DSS, NIST, ISO, SOC 2 and CIS sits above the layer of checks that evaluate them; one failing check is traced to the control it affects.PCINISTISOSOC 2CISCONTROLSeach framework versioned and signedCHECKSone check can satisfy many controls
01

Sensitive data, less exposed

Paths from the internet to your data stores rise to the top and get a proposed fix.

02

One story for board and auditor

Executive reports and audit packages come from the same sealed cases, with both scores shown.

03

Risk accepted on purpose

Every exception has a named owner, compensating controls and an expiry. Nothing is accepted forever.

Exposure first

Start with the data that is reachable

A public bucket holding claims documents matters more than a missing tag. ACSE links misconfigurations into paths from internet entry points to data stores and ranks them, so the work starts where exposure is real.

Each fix is validated against a plan and your policy before a person approves it.

Governance

The program regulators expect to see

01

A named risk owner

Exceptions belong to a person, not a team, with a review cadence and revocation conditions.

02

Fix-by targets

Targets by severity and environment, with late cases listed and changes recorded.

03

Board reporting

Executive reports that carry the governed score, the raw score and the counts behind them.

  2. FixA validated fix opens as a draft in your repository, approved by a person with step-up MFA.
  3. VerifyAfter the merge, ACSE re-reads the resource and watches it through an observation window.
  4. SealThe case is sealed into your evidence store, ready for an audit package.

Questions

What people ask us

Which frameworks are relevant for insurers?

Many insurers report against ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53 or PCI DSS, which ACSE ships as signed packs. State insurance cybersecurity rules and your own standards can be mapped as a custom framework.

Does ACSE help with incident response?

No. ACSE finds and fixes misconfigurations and proves the fixes. It does not detect attacks in progress.

Can our auditors check the evidence themselves?

Yes. They verify exported cases offline with the open verifier, with no ACSE account.
